Perry County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm live custody, release a person, post bond, schedule a visit, or pull an official booking record. Contact the agency that created or maintains the record for a current answer.
Where a Perry Record Belongs
Use the contact that matches the question. The Sheriff's Office handles county custody, jail routing, warrants, and county records. A city police department holds the report it created. The Circuit Clerk handles court-file questions. Hours below are only those documented in the research, not a promise of jail access.

Choose the Right Office
These routes help keep a city report, county booking, state record, and federal locator from being mixed together:
- For a mugshot or booking record, begin with the Perry County records and search path, then ask the Sheriff or arresting agency for the source record.
- For a warrant or court-connected status, use the Sheriff and Circuit Clerk routes. A public case search is not a universal warrant clearance.
- For a just-reported arrest, check the county app and custody fallback, then verify with the police department that made the arrest.
- For a release or transfer question, ask the Sheriff for the current custody route. A person may no longer appear in a live view after release.
- For Du Quoin police records, call 618-542-2131 or use the city FOIA page. Police requests may go through the City Clerk at 302 East Poplar Street, by email to dqwater@duquoinil.gov with a FOIA subject, or by mail to P.O. Box 466, Du Quoin, IL 62832.
- For Pinckneyville police records, the city lists 618-357-8231, a 24-hour line at 618-357-9295, and weekday office hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Its FOIA page lists City Clerk Melissa Kellerman at 618-357-8927 and cityclerk@pinckneyvillecity.com. Verify the current form and email before sending a request.
- For a Willisville report, call the village's official county-listed number, 618-497-2632, and ask for the current FOIA and police-records custodian.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Illinois Department of Corrections offender search. For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator.
